Dudley Hill Golf Club: Rules & Etiquette
USGA Rules of Golf govern all play at Dudley Hill, except as modified by local rules below.
For a pleasant golfing experience for all, we ask that the following rules be observed:
Tee Times & Check-In
  • Tee times are required.
  • Always check in at the pro shop before playing.
  • Be on time for your scheduled tee time.
Pace of Play
  • Please maintain pace of play
  • Be polite and let faster groups play through when appropriate.
  • Ring the bell on #2 fairway or #4 fairway to let groups behind you tee off.
  • No cutting in front of groups on the front nine.
Groups & Guests
  • No sixsomes allowed unless authorized by management.
  • Groupings such as fivesomes may not start on any tee box other than the 1st tee.
  • Players under 16 must be accompanied by an adult, and are not permitted to operate carts.
  • Memberships are not transferable.
Carts
  • Cart renters must be at least 16 years old with a valid driver’s license.
  • Only two people per cart; no riding on the back of a cart.
  • Keep carts 30 feet from tees and greens.
  • Keep carts on cart paths as much as possible.
  • Return carts to the designated cart area at the end of your round
  • Return cart keys to the clubhouse.
  • Players are responsible for any damage to the cart(s), course, or premises.
Course Care
  • Please repair divots, fix ball marks on greens, and rake bunkers.
  • Replace flagsticks carefully.
  • Winter rules are allowed in your fairway.
  • No mulligans.
Rules of Play
  • Out of bounds are marked by white stakes.
  • All red-stake hazards play as lateral hazards.
Attire & Conduct
  • Proper golf attire is required. No tank tops or swimwear.
  • Players must adhere to proper golf course etiquette at all times.
Alcohol
  • All alcohol must be purchased from Dudley Hill Golf Club (LCG).
  • No outside alcohol or personal coolers permitted.
